I heard about a website at a byu conference where you can create ur own website for free but i cant remeber it

you could have anything like www.ninjas.rock.com. i cant remember the website where you make your website. anyone know of it?

   I reckon Microsoft has something where you can get a free domain name for a few months but then have to pay so it’s not really free.

   You can do the website part for free at TinyPurpleGrapes.com. I made my website for free and then registered a domain name and pointed it to my free site.

   Here is how I did it.

   I made my church’s website at TinyPurpleGrapes.com and then registered the URL and pointed it at the site. You can get to my site at either of the following URLs
   http://BroomfieldCommunityChurch.org
   or
   http://BroomfieldCommunityChurch.TinyPurpleGrapes.com

   Here are the steps to set this up:

   Step 1 – Make your site on TinyPurpleGrapes.com

   Step 2 – Go to the settings page for your new site and write down the IP address they give you.

   Step 3 – Register a domain name with a domain name provider like GoDaddy.com.

   Step 4 – On GoDaddy, point your domain name at the IP addresss you wrote down in step 2.

   Step 5 – Log into your site on TinyPurpleGrapes.com and go to the settings page. Then enter the domain name in the appropriate field.

   NOTE: TinyPurpleGrapes.com is a free service and it is possible that the IP address could change from time to time in which case you would need to update it for your domain name.
